About the Book
What is The Autopsy of the Modern Church about?
It’s a forensic examination of the modern Western Church. Rev. Ottis Atkinson traces how an institution built for transcendence traded it for psychological comfort, and how the pastor was slowly replaced by the therapist. It’s a diagnosis, not a lament, and it ends in new life rather than the morgue.
Who is it for?
Pastors, counselors, church leaders, and anyone who refuses to settle for a Church that merely survives.
What is the Reader’s Journal, and do I need it?
The Reader’s Journal is the companion study guide. Each chapter section includes key quotations, diagnostic questions, prayer prompts, and action steps. The book stands on its own, but the journal is highly recommended for personal study or group use.
What formats are available?
The book is available in paperback and hardcover. The Reader’s Journal is spiral-bound.
